Chris Rattray was born in Dundee. He left Dundee at 16 and headed for London, after moving back to Scotland he subsequently moved to the beautiful Island of Jersey.  Throughout his lifetime he has been a musician, fine artist and sculptor. He has worked with many famous faces throughout his career and has remained involved with music and art all throughout his life. Upon his return home to Scotland he became a bestselling playwright writing Dundee’s hit play “The Mill Lavvies”. Having always had a love for books and an interest in writing he finally decided to put pen to paper become an author. 

Under the High Dunsinane is Chris Rattray’s debut novel.
