This story takes place over a period of one week.
While inspecting a newly purchased concealed part of the huge shooting estate he works on, a suicidal monetarily desperate gamekeeper becomes enraptured by an ancient weakened entity. His three sons due to a drug deal which has been set up to entrap one of them, discover the place where the drug dealer’s money and drugs are hidden and because the drug dealers terrorised to death an acquaintance of them plan to steal it.
The drug dealers discover where the gamekeeper has hidden the troves and plan to rob them.
What ensues is an extraordinary twin storyline set in the hills of Perthshire around Dunsinane, the legendary home of Macbeth including the cities of Dundee and Perth. An enthralling tale of murder, innocence, innocence-lost, self-discovery, courage, love and a race against time.
